My kindergarten students are at an important and vital milestone in their academic lives. The foundation for literacy skills are being laid. I am trying to instill that love of reading within each one of them. One of the ways that I am trying to accomplish this is by giving my students opportunities to choose books that are of their interests. The books that I have picked out to purchase are specifically geared toward the interests and passions of each of my students. These books will help to engage my students on a personal level in reading. They will also help guide my students down the path of becoming life long readers!
