Reading is the biggest impact in a child's life. It can be positive or negative and starts very early. There are many gaps in my students learning levels. The math and reading skills of every level of student will be positively impacted. This will also give access to technology that some students don't have based on their economic status. The iPad's will help me educate my students in different ways, make learning more fun, and even teach responsibility. The materials I am requesting of 5 iPads would provide so many learning opportunities for every student in my class. We would be able to use them during both our math and reading rotations to give every student, regardless of their ability levels, engaging activities. We would also be able to use them during our silent reading time for those students who need extra support from things like audiobooks.
