I chose to focus on STEM materials and activities because I feel as though it really helps build the community in my classroom. It gives my students an opportunity to problem solve, compromise and persevere through the present task at hand. As I teach them science through various activities, before they receive the content, it helps them to figure out the solution to our inquiry. I also believe it helps create ideal group work, minimizes disagreements and allows every student to focus on their learning. The lessons are meaningful and will definitely benefit their learning and improve their school lives.
