My students come to me with a story to tell, that they WANT to tell but doing it in their writing is difficult. I want to help them by making sure they have all the tools they can have to make this process easier. These dictionaries would enable my students to access language that is now closed to them. I want to help my students tell their stories, share their opinions, and change the world with their words. To do this they must be able to find their words, expand their vocabularies, and spell the words they already know and dictionaries can help them do just that.
