I have the perfect little nook in my classroom that I would like to transform into a reading space for my students. We practice The Daily 5 Literacy program, and one thing students do every day is "read to self." I would like to have a relaxing and inviting space with a colorful rug and comfortable chairs for students to enjoy the books in my classroom library! During the "read to someone" time of the day, students would love to pull up a colorful stool to the table to read with me, instead of sitting in the same chair that they use all day long. These updates to my classroom will make the learning environment for my students more enjoyable and will promote reading every day!
