Kindergarten is the children's first taste of education. It is the foundation upon which the rest of their education builds. Kindergarten is SO important. It is not just about the learning or love that I show my students every day. It is also about the environment in which they are learning. The listening center, mobile cart, book bins and books I am asking for will make my classroom more inviting, colorful, and fun. This, in return, will help my students feel excited about learning which is a goal in my class. If you make learning fun, the students will retain the information taught for years to come! I plan to use the listening station as a center in classroom to help with fluency. I will use the calendar in my class for our morning routine. It will help students with days of the week, months of the year, and counting.
