Most of my classroom contents were lost due to Hurricane Harvey and the flood waters that came into our school building. We are currently displaced to another campus. We are having to use what we have, in another teacher's borrowed classroom. It is not ideal but it has worked out well. Because of the loss of most of my classroom's instructional materials, the items requested will greatly help with teaching the remainder of this year and every year to come. The kids have been a wonderful bright spot in a difficult school year. They are facing many of the same problems at home and in their person lives. People have been very kind in reaching out to our area and particularly to our school. We thank you for that! The kids and I have adjusted to the new normal for this year and we are having a wonderful time in spite of a lot of turmoil and change.
