Raspberry Pi is a simple computer that students need to program themselves. The programming portion requires students to understand the functions that they are using and gives them immediate feedback as to where they are making mistakes. Sharing the Raspberry Pi with other students facilitates 4C projects. It supports the Collaboration process as students will need to agree what they need to do before they start programming, Communication as they need to troubleshoot problems together, Creativity as students will be able to solve problems in different ways and produce multiple methods of output, and Critical Thinking as students must examine their project requirements and break it into appropriate pieces. Students will then be using the Engineering process to improve their work until they produce a final product. Since the Raspberry Pi is so easy to modify, students can create various types of outputs, scientific instruments, games, etc.
