My low income preschool students are hands on learners, but they often lack experience with creativity-building toys. Many of my students have never had a chance to play with Legos. Legos are open ended, imaginative and fun. They encourage creativity and critical thinking. I want my students to be able to build their world and create new pathways to their imaginations. Legos encourage my students to work together to build meaningful constructions and explore play in a way that is new to so many of them. My students have seen Lego movies but they need a hands on Lego experience
