Our school serves low-income families. My job as an educator is to prepare them with the tools necessary to have a better education. I think technology plays an important role. This year our district provided our students with technology for each of the 4th graders. We were thrilled when we started using Google classroom, Achieve 3000, and Istation. At the beginning of the year, we asked parents to buy headphones for the students. Most of them comply. But with time, the headphones have deteriorated. The goal of this project is to provide students with headphones that will increase their technology experience. At the moment, students are sharing headphones I have been collecting from previous years in addition to the ones I have bought. They don't seem to mind but I think it would be nice if each of them had their own.
