Imagine writing a paper for your first college class but you have no way to print it unless you walk across campus. Imagine not being able to access electronic resources for a class assignment. This is what some of my students might face when they begin college next fall. Technology is an integral part of the education process and I want to ensure my students are able to compete. The tablets, printers and Chromebook will be valuable tools as these students pursue higher education. Even with max Pell grant eligibility most of these students face thousands in loans to pursue a college degree. These items will allow a few to worry less about buying essential items needed to complete college work.
