These arts and crafting materials will enable my students to learn much needed social and job skills thru group hands-on craft making opportunities in class. The material needed will supply our basic needs to manage a school store which helps raise money to take academic related social skill trips to museums, nature science centers, job development meetings and many other functions. Our students are in a class where they learn core academics at their own level of reading, writing and math. We will use the supplies to grow these skills using project based learning that involves counting, spelling, and hands-on job skills. We will be making sock bunnies, picture frames and beaded jewelry to sell to teachers, parents and students using these supplies.
