My kindergarten students need STEM kits to help keep them excited to learn. These activities will keep them engaged with hands-on, problem solving and teamwork activities. The research is quite clear that the best practice in early childhood education is to break away from passive instruction and allow for more play and investigation, and this kind of learning early in life builds skills and interests that serve children throughout their school years, and later in life. If we get the STEM bundle, Create-A-Chain Reaction and Building Brick STEM Challenge kits, I plan on doing STEM Fridays! I hope that this will get the kids excited to learn and promote them to think outside of the box.
