In our classroom full of incredible 8th grade students, we have a wide range of reading abilities and needs. Our students thrive when they can read texts that are at their Independent Reading Levels, which is the level of text that they can read and understand without teacher support. There is no better way to improve a person's reading comprehension than to have them READ. Our goal is to create a classroom library so that our students can read books that they can discuss with their peers and remember forever.

About my class
