I have been wanting to provide my students with flexible seating for a long time. Many of my students come to me without any prior schooling. Sitting in a hard chair at a table is a very restricting environment for most of my students. Students that are 4, 5, and 6 years old need to be able to move. They need options for their ever-changing bodies. They cannot maximize their development and learning when they are restricted by their seating. These flexible seating items include wobble chairs, cushions and ball seating and will serve my students wonderfully by providing a choice of seating that will not hinder their development.
