My students will learn about kindness and hopefully have a chance in their future to pay it forward. Knowing that strangers have helped feed their rumbling bellies will make a huge impact on their present educational goals as well as those of the future. My hope is that the lesson learned about the kindness of others will stay with them always. Giving the students nutritional snacks will help with homework completion and also help during the school day by allowing them to focus on the task at hand rather than worrying about having sufficient food in the pantry to eat.
