Our students are very involved in making their local urban community a wonderful place to live. This trip to Baltimore and Washington DC will give them an opportunity to think about the impact they could have on a national level. Many of these students have never traveled outside of our city and this trip will help broaden their perspective as they think about the impact they can have on a larger scale. In today's society, schools need to focus on so much more than reading and writing. We need to educate our children on how to best lead our country when our generation passes the reigns!

About my class
