Last March, when school buildings were unexpectedly closed, I left with few materials and a whole lot of uncertainty. I never would have thought we would not return and I would be thrown into doing tele-therapy, google meets and remote learning. I am requesting Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards to get speech materials and resources to help my students continue to grow and develop their language skills. Even though the future of this school year still has so many questions; one thing is for sure -- remote learning is still going to be involved. Therefore, I feel that it is in the best interest of my students to be able to give them more remote materials and different ways to engage their learning and help them be better communicators. I will be providing speech therapy in person and remote so I will need a variety of materials to help my students learn their skills and carry them over to their families at home. I currently have been trying to recreate existing materials that I already have access to. However, Teachers Pay Teachers has all different kinds of exciting new materials that my students will love. They have resources that are developed specifically for remote learning and explain exactly how they can be used with the students. The materials that I purchase from Teachers Pay Teachers with the gift cards you supply will give my students new and interactive ways to reach their speech and language goals!
