My students need these books to expose them to life experiences outside of their environment in Gallup, New Mexico. Books like Geronimo Stilton, My Weird School, Amelia Bedelia, and Nancy Drew will stimulate their imagination and take them to worlds outside of their own daily challenges. These books will enrich students' vocabularies and enhance their comprehension. Reading is the most important life skill for second grade students to develop because it will help them interact and engage with the world beyond. It will give them further knowledge to utilize throughout their future schooling, careers, and lives. Thank you for supporting these students through the power of reading!
