Many of my students have learning disabilities, and certain seating preferences are beneficial to their learning. These materials will help these students be more engaged in the classroom. For example, with a beanbag seat and balance ball seat, students who need to move around more will have more options than with a stationary chair. Because all students learn and interact in unique ways, these flexible seating materials will make a difference in the learning environment of my classroom. Library time is a fun and engaging time during the day, and, with these materials, I will have more seating options for all students. Students will be more comfortable and better able to focus on lessons, stories, and using technology.
