With the help of donors, our young scholars will get the opportunity to partake in lessons that will continue to promote their locomotor skills, along with enhancing their overall health. With a lot of the equipment in the gym now, scholars don't have a chance to use much of it because it is oversized and not made for their little hands and feet. If we we're to get more equipment for the younger grades, I would be able to do all the exciting lessons like obstacle courses, more hand and eye coordination activities, and those basic activities like playing basketball on a rim that is their size. Introducing new items to the class will also help me engage those scholars who are not interested in the sports side of PE. There will be a variety of equipment that can be used for other types of lessons and units that are not geared around a sport, but still allows them to actively participate in class.
