Technology has taken away from social interactions. Therefore, I often have my students work in groups and or pairs so they can build their social skills. I expect them to share ideas, build upon ideas, question ideas and problem solve. The flexible seating items I have requested allow me to implement a rotational system that goes against the rigid learning of sitting at a desk. The items excite the students and encourages them to go to their centers, work in their groups and stay focused.
