It can be a long day without outside recess! I am requesting items such as a bowling set, a hopscotch mat and some tossing games to make indoor recess fun and innovative. Our students will reinvent our hall and bring outside activities to the inside on inclement weather days! Participating in recess each day provides our students with a brain break, time to increase social skills and much needed exercise. Research indicates that academic learning increases in students who participate in recess.By providing our students with entertaining and engaging indoor recess activities- inclement weather won't slow down our day in PreK.
