Our young learners will actively participate in every step of the gardening process from seedling to vegetable, for everyone to enjoy. We want to provide our students with the tools to help them make their garden grow. We were gifted with a beautiful greenhouse for our students to use and create a beautiful garden. We just need some supplies. We are requesting vegetable seeds to give the children an opportunity to plant the seeds and watch them grow. We need planters, soil and the tools to maintain our garden and of course, labels to highlight what each plant is and to monitor progress. Through this gardening adventure, our ultimate goal is to encourage our young students to follow a path for healthy and nutritious eating that will last them a lifetime! Our little green thumbs will plant and cultivate an assortment of vegetables to enjoy and share with their fellow classmates throughout our school. Students will learn all about the farm to table experience and create projects along the way.
