Voice recorders and timers will help my students monitor themselves as they read so they can become fluent readers. A reader is fluent when they can read with accuracy, speed, and understanding. Helping students become fluent readers will help to increase their levels of comprehension. By helping my students become fluent readers, they will be able to move on to higher reading levels and therefore strengthen their comprehension skills. My students love going to the fluency center in my classroom and these recorders and timers will not only motivate them when completing the center but help hold them accountable. Your generous donation will encourage the gift of learning, forever impact their lives and yield exponential benefits well into the future.
