Headphones will allow my students to participate in a financial literacy course, allow them to work at their own pace, and continue to be independent learners by exploring interests that are meaningful to them. This will open up a whole new world of learning for them. They will be able to explore and progress at a pace that is comfortable for them. Students who process at a slower rate won't feel pressured to move on before they have a chance to understand what they have heard and process that information. Students will be able to gather information and practice presentation skills which will build public speaking, communication skills and self confidence.
