My third grade students need scissors that will fit their eight-year-old fingers! The scissors provided by our district are fine, but the finger holes are too small. My students love to do precise cutting work -- not only for art projects, but also for the language arts and math notebooks we use daily. When finger holes are too small, regardless of the sharpness of the blades, the scissors don't perform well and get stuck on my students' fingers. I would LOVE to be able to give my students scissors that aren't frustrating for them to use and that are made specifically for 'bigger' students.
