My 1st graders need an easel for every part of their day. Its easy accessibility is convenient to use for not only whole group lessons but one on one student understanding. An easel in our classroom would help with student engagement and involvement. An easel can be used as a visual aid throughout the lesson and can be used to model specific instructions. The best part of an easel is that it is easy for students to use and promotes active learning. Funding this project will mean students can break down math problems, organize and create a story, and review past concepts. My first grade class loves to learn and an easel would help them be engaged at the same time. I am excited at the possibility of getting an easel for my classroom. Thank you for helping me and taking the time to make a difference.
