Many of my students come to school without knowing the basics in science and have even less experience with scientific inquiry. When students are engaged in an environment that is "hands-on, minds-on," they are more excited to learn new things. New basic lab materials/tools are needed in order to replace the ones that have been worn-out/broken. Without these basics, some students begin to feel negatively about their educational experience in science because they don't have the skills set or experience which is needed for their state exam. Your generosity will allow us to provide them the necessary materials. Our students deserve the opportunity to better themselves by way of positive learning experiences. This project will serve to pave the way in taking down these emotional barriers thereby opening them up to having successful learning experiences and strive toward achievement!
