The PASS program, Positive Approach to Students Success, is designed for students that are diagnosed with severe emotional and/or behavioral problems. I am in need of assistance with creating a new exciting atmosphere for my students. My desire is to create a “How Powerful Were You Today?” type classroom. The balance ball chair and the hopper chair will be used as an energy booster that will help the students to become more focused while in the PASS Room. Also, these products will be used to help the students become more engaged which will increase their learning in the classroom environment. Next, I would also like to use sensory items. These items will not only be used in the Pass classroom but also in a classroom setting to assist with any behavioral issues. These items will be used to increase learning but also used to remind the students to start on task. All items will be used to create a positive learning environment. This is detrimental due to recent events and effects of Hurricane Harvey. Being able to gift my students with a special gift would not only motivate them to work hard but let them know how much I appreciate them. It is my passion and a calling to empower children and make an impact. With your help, I know it can be done.
