My students absolutely love when they can sit where they choose to learn in the classroom. Flexible seating is a way for students to learn outside of sitting in their desks, which often can be uncomfortable, especially after a long day of rotations. Our school uses Blended learning, with its mix of technology and traditional face-to-face instruction, it combines classroom learning with online learning, in which students can, in part, control the time, pace, and place of their learning. My students often ask to sit on the rug, or in the library or in there unassigned seat, next to a friend who will keep them on task or in a quite space on the floor.
