My kindergarten students, especially my low SES and non-English speakers, need to feel comfortable, welcome, and safe in their classroom environment. Coming to school for the first time is a terrifying thing and I need to create a classroom that is as welcoming as possible. The classrooms in our school need some color. All of the walls are either white or a nasty felt. We hope to replace this felt with an age appropriate color to improve the feel of the classroom. The magnetic paint will allow us to easily post on the wall without ruining the new paint job.

About my class
