We use our program to help young people develop socially, independently and in leadership while they work together in preparation for competition. Through our program, young people are encouraged to become responsible for their own health and well-being while being given the tools to succeed as part of the larger group. Distance runners often struggle with a lack of strength and balance. We want to help our young athletes learn the benefits of both of these as we work through the season. The bands help develop core, hip and glut strength & flexibility. The kettlebells will help develop upper-body and core strength.
