If we are able to get desks with storage in our classroom, we could eliminate the various bookshelves that hold books, notebooks and supplies and in turn have more space for movement during transitions. In addition, students would not need to waste valuable instructional walking across the classroom to simply get their materials. These desks will make a difference in our learning since they would reduce the transition time from one subject to the next. It will also cut down on unnecessary arguments that arise from being in a classroom cluttered with extra furniture. Our goal is to learn with less interruptions.
