A Chromebook is something that will be especially helpful since the old desktop computers in the classroom are often not working. Students will be able to practice their math skills on a variety of different websites such as Moby Max, ABCya and Xtramath. It will also give English language learners a better chance at succeeding by giving them access to a translator and instruction in both their native language as well as English. Color ink and construction paper will allow me to print center materials, game boards and posters that will last for years to come. Manipulatives, such as Legos, will keep the students excited while giving them hands on experience with math concepts like multiplication and area. Magnetic number lines and other manipulatives will be very helpful for my visual learners. My students get so excited when introduced to new materials. Any donation is greatly appreciated!
