We need a new projector in our classroom because our projector broke. With a new projector we will be able to demonstrate math manipulatives, show visuals for science experiments and modeling of the physical process of writing and hand movements. It will allow us to access audio visual resources from internet and current events. Students will be able to see step-by-step math problem solving, step by step instructions and use picture books with read alouds. We can also display class agenda/schedule, a timer for assignments and surround students with images from the unit you are studying: (Show people, architecture, art, food, social scenes, etc. for a social studies unit.) A new projector will open up a new world of learning for us. There will be no more big semicircle watching the teacher, instead students will be able to be active and interact with their learning environment.
