I truly enjoy working with this second grade class at Little Cypress Elementary, having served as a teacher for over 40 years! Well over half of my students lost homes in Hurricane Harvey, and most are still living in temporary housing situations while reconstruction is taking place. Our school is a great place to be, but this entire year we are having all classes at a large Baptist Church in our community of Orange, Texas. We lost buildings, furniture, and supplies but we have not lost our enthusiasm for learning!
