We are creating writing portfolios that will enable students to organize and preserve a year's worth of independent projects. Students will have tabs for writing ideas, reference tools, rough drafts, story artwork, and peer-edited final drafts. Students in 4th grade have high expectations in terms of writing standards. We write research papers, personal narratives, imaginative stories, and persuasive essays. I want my students to be have sturdy and useful writing portfolios so they can have everything they need at their fingertips, ready to write some brilliant and whimsical stories that share the genius that is young minds and hearts! Help with our goal is much appreciated! THANK YOU!!!
