My students are amazing. Despite the fact that over 77 percent of them come from economically disadvantaged families and are on free or reduced cost lunches, little stands in their way when it comes to wanting to learn. Many of my students have limited English proficiency that can make it difficult for me to explain concepts to them. There are limited posters and other visuals that can be used in the music classroom to get objectives across to them. However, there is an almost unlimited amount of visual resources available via the Internet and our district's library resource center that are legally available for me to use in my classroom IF I had a means to use it.
