One of my favorite iPad applications allows students to take virtual field trips. Students are able to walk around and view places such as Paris, Germany, Mexico, and African deserts. The experiences are priceless and expose students to topics they often read about yet rarely get to see. Also, our students will be able to practice fluency, comprehension, and reading on various programs that allow for creative learning. The iPads have many different features that allow learning at different levels. The iPad can read aloud text, take pictures, videos, and much more! The Apple iPad is also compatible with most applications that students can also use at home.
