I work with students with special needs. Many are able to gain access to general education curriculum as long as proper accommodations are in place. One common accommodation for most kids is having access to a word processor for various in-class activities. These include, but are not limited to: speech-to-text, audio of textbook, creating projects in lieu of writing assignments, and note-taking. Unfortunately, some of our students require enrollment in our Cyber High program to recover credits required for graduation. Having access to a chromebook in the classroom will allow students to accomplish this task with ease. These 5 units with serve our students in countless way.
