Having portable cassette players and a pair of headphones for every student in the classroom will help support my students be on track with their reading. We have many books on tape in our room that we are not able to use because we do not have the adequate supplies to use them. Being able to listen to books being read to them on tape during independent work time will help my students grow immensely in their reading. Having a listening center in my room will help to boost my students' engagement during independent work time, foster a love of reading in my classroom, and increase my students' vocabulary.

About my class
