Learning an instrument is something a child can do regardless of his/her primary language. That doesn't mean it's easy though. Having the right equipment to assist in the process will make learning the violin easier for my students. My students were playing violins with kitchen sponges for shoulder rests! UGH! They need real shoulder rests to support a good playing position. A bow without rosin is like tires without tread! The slip sliding and screechy tone mean we need new rosin. Strings wear out and break. We need a few spares. The investment in instruments has been made, but there are lots of accessories needed and the cost really adds up. Can you help?
