My students need and deserve a bright, happy, welcoming, and equipped classroom. Our community is very loving, but is not always able to provide money for things for our school. If this project is funded it would make our classroom bright and happy and provide a community space for us to gather, share, and explore together. Right now my students do not even have a classroom rug for community time or a writing easel to gather around and interact with in our lessons. These are both critical elements of a primary classroom. My students will gain and understanding of print concepts, sharing their work and ideas and a place to refer back to for ideas and support.
