Scientists can debate global warming all they want. However, I know that the temperature has risen in my classroom and we're hot, uncomfortable, and restless. My classroom has windows that let in a bit of breeze, but it isn’t enough to cool down the classroom. We've been drinking a lot of water to cool down, but before long the students and I are hot again. We need the requested fans to make the classroom more habitable and a better learning environment. We are 32 bodies in one room where it gets hot! We're hot and the heat doesn't help us learn! We need fans to lower the temperature and get the breeze flowing through our classroom so that the students have a comfortable environment in which to learn.
