My current classroom is configured like a typical computer lab. The workstations contain desktop computers that are completely stationary. I know that this has been the norm in education for decades. BUT with the advancement of technology norms are shifting. My students are smart, creative, out of the box thinkers. They need workstations that can accommodate their varied learning styles. Adding Chromebooks to my classroom would allow students the opportunity to be mobile while we are learning. It would give them the opportunity to stretch their legs which I think helps many of them stretch their minds and imaginations.
