Students will use the Dell Chromebook to create an informational newsletters to share with our families. Students will work together to decide what articles should be written, how they should be formatted and what story will get the lead in our classroom created newsletter. Instead of families hearing from me, they will see what the students are thinking about the happenings in our classroom. I would like to increase the amount of STEAM activities my students are exposed to in 4th grade. We have limited time for science and having STEAM bins available for students to explore would be a great way to start our day. Students arrive at various times in the morning and would have the option to pull a STEAM activity before we begin our Morning Meeting. I believe this soft start to our day will be beneficial for all.
