Bookshelves organized and present reading material in a way that facilitate literacy experiences. The two bookshelves that I am requesting will allow me to display a classroom library of assorted literature to pique students interest in reading. Stories like The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and The Secret Garden are just a few I would like to have grace the corners of my classroom contained on a beautifully crafted bookshelf. Reading is an essential part of developing literacy skills. Students go on various journeys within the pages of a good book. I think that having a classroom library will inspire students to read.
