After a year of distance learning, my students are finally coming back to being in the classroom in person. Many of the supplies listed are to help keep things organized and help students to interact in a safe manner. In following the CDC guidelines, there is limited spacing in my classroom so the storage carts, storage bins, and label maker are to help store all materials in one space so that students can access their materials easily. The Kleenex, Clorox wipes, broom, and Swifter Wipes will be used to help maintain a clean classroom environment. I will be using the transparent face shields so that students are able to visibly see my mouth, which will increase their comprehension as I teach from the front of the classroom, specifically for my ELL and SPED students. In addition to that, the laminator, poster boards, and washi tape will all be used to post student work around the classroom to help celebrate student growth and achievement. Due to the humidity and weather, the work posted tends to fade or get damaged quickly so laminating it will help protect it.
