Students in my English class and Academic Support class will find the use of the Chromebooks motivating not to mention engaging. They can also mentor and show those new to using technology how to use the computers. Specifically, these tools will be used for English projects, powerpoints, essays and vocational projects and job exploration, not to mention they will then have the opportunity to monitor their own academic progress through our school wide gradebook. As a result, the use of the Chromebooks will engage my otherwise unmotivated learners, improve school attendance as well as allow them to become successful achieving students that their parents can be proud of!
